Fear and Phobia
What is a phobia?
When someone is afraid of something, it is called 'fear'. It is perfectly acceptable to be afraid of a tiger. We are afraid of tigers because they will hurt us. It will become a phobia when the fear of something interfere with one's everyday life or daily routine. If seeing a tiger's picture will cause a person to get a panic attack or a nervous breakout, it has developed into a phobia. The most important feature to diagnose a phobia from fear is that the person will experience fear excessively and disproportionately to the situation to the extent that it affects their everyday life or daily routing. Phobia may even keep you away from work or sleep or to do the things you wish to do, then it becomes totally irrational.
The Types of Phobia.
There are many types of phobia, known by many names. Basically, there are two types of phobias. The first is collectively known as direct phobia whereby someone has experienced the emotion of being frightened but prefers to forget about it and tries to overcome the emotion of fear. This does not subdue the fear. When the experiences is relived, fears in the form of tears, nervousness and violent catharsis surfaces. On the other hand, indirect phobia is caused when one has been anxious on several occasions over a long period of time such as the long suffering of a very closed relative who is dying.
Why do People Get Phobias?
There is no conclusive reason as to why people have phobias. Some scientists think that a person's genes are partly responsible for it. But other factors like a bad experience in an elevator or the death of someone can cause a phobia.

"I like the sessions here because it can do away my fear of ghosts and horror movies. I have never sat on such a comfortable chair before until now."

"It has been a very satisfying and enriching experience. I am able to relax better and easier and that is a great feeling. Along the way, I did find a huge shift in my perspective and am able to see things in a lighter mode. I am definitely more positive now and strongly believe the power of sub-conscious and positivity. I have been feeling great about working with my therapist and myself. I believe that I can really achieve anything and believe that I deserve nothing but the least. The law of universe takes care of the rest."

"Dear therapist, I would like to thank you for all your help and advices, I really needed them. Today after the end of the therapy, I can see the difference in me. I feel more confident, happy and I can say also that I am a different person. I can manage my stress and even if sometimes I have difficulties in dealing with other human beings, immediately I take control of the situation and I managed to communicate easily with my family.
Again, many thanks and I also thanks for giving me an opportunity to meet you."

"Dear therapist, the whole therapy has made me a changed person. I would say I am very much in control of my fear and anxiety. A more relaxed and calm person now. Also seen myself able to slow down in life sometimes and take a step back to relax myself. Really learned a lot and know that once I am in control, I should fear nothing."

"Dear therapist, thank you for taking my case on – I realize you had other priorities and appreciate your time. I did not know anything about age regression except what the films show – purple halos and lots of depression. This was definitely not my experience! I found the exercise liberating and was bewildered at a few points:-
- I do not know which day I was born but correctly answered under regression therapy.
- I have been feeling that my ability to make decisions is impaired and it is not something I like to admit – I freely did this with no shame too!
Thank you for your help – I hope I have the strength to continue your good work."

[Condition: Phobia]
"Dear therapists,
Thank you very much for your patience, sincerity and dedication towards helping me. I came here pretty much daring reached the “bottom of the barrel” and now believe that my notion was incorrect. The session helped me relax and control the physical discomfort I felt whilst thinking about needles/blood tests. The physical comfort assisted in reducing the emotional distress/mental trauma of my phobia. I totally surprised myself when I could not feel the strength of you pinching my arm enough to raise it.
I believe I can do a blood test now, not really sure how but I believe I can do it. This is a far cry from a few weeks ago.
Thank you for your kindness and I will be in touch with positive news soon."

“Through the six sessions, hypnosis have helped me in having a clearer view and thoughts in how to deal with life in general, not only the problems I’m facing. I have learned to consciously be aware of the ‘devil’ or negative thoughts of mine. And have been practicing to be in better control over them and to stay positive. As therapist had said, a lot still have to depend on one self willingness and practices to reach a satisfying result. I am sure I will continue to use what have been taught and said in practice to be where I want to be. Thank you.”

Although I’m not feeling really great right now, I am not feeling that stressful like before the treatment. I hope to see myself become a positive person from now on and to see improvement in my happiness following my hypnosis session here with my therapist at

“I get to know about Hypnae through internet. I am a Christian believer therefore I felt God has led me to Hypnae. I was in desperation, as I had depression and fear of death. Thanks to my therapist, although I was suppose to have 10 sessions, but by the sixth session, I have totally recovered. My heavenly Father and my therapists at Hypnae have helped me through this trial. Now I am a happier, more positive and strong person. Hypnae, I am so glad to have found you.”
